  • Have at least a 3.0 GPA on your most recent 60 credits at Yale University
  • Be enrolled in the Master of Social Work program at Yale University

Procedure for Application:

To apply for the Yale School of Social Work’s Master of Social Work Program, please complete the following steps:

  • Complete the application and submit it online by January 15th, 2023.
  • Upload a copy of your official transcripts from all post-secondary educational institutions attended (including international universities) to your application before submitting it.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) is required to be considered for an award; however, the average GPA of admitted students is 3.5 or higher.
  • You will also be required to submit an essay in response to the prompt “Why do you want to pursue a degree in social work?”
  • The essay should be no longer than two pages in length and written in Times New Roman 12-point font with 1-inch margins on all sides, double spaced, and beginning with a title page that includes your full name, email address, phone number, school name, and major/minor program interest area (if applicable).

15. Government of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship and Requirements

The Government of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship for MSW is a scholarship program that provides financial assistance to students enrolled in the Master of Social Work program at [university name].
